SUMMARY:THE SPIRITUAL EMERGENCY – EMBRACING UNEXPECTED TRANSFORMATION
DESCRIPTION:SPIRITUAL EMERGENCY – SUPPORTING UNEXPECTED CHALLENGES IN NON-ORDINARY STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS\nTaught by Marc Aixala\nHealing and transformation can sometimes imply challenging moments in which we feel destabilized, particularly when following a path that involves experiences in Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness.\nThese moments of crises have been understood as psychosis or psychological regression by some and as opportunities and major breakthroughs by others. Stan and Christina Grof coined the term „Spiritual Emergency” to refer to such states. What is the difference between psychosis and a Spiritual Emergency? How should we support people going through them?\nIn this module, we will explore the different challenging manifestations that people sometimes go through in their journeys of transformation. We aim to understand the reasons that lead to such difficulties and identify the best approaches to support these intense processes from a non-judgmental and caring perspective.\nIn this module, we will cover the following topics:\n1) The concept of Spiritual Emergence and Spiritual Emergency.\n2) The various types of Spiritual Emergencies as described by Stan and Christina Grof.\n3) Contemporary perspectives on Spiritual Emergencies, as encountered in current forms of psychedelic therapy, shamanic experiences, and experiential work.\n4) Diverse challenges that individuals may face after difficult experiences in Non-Ordinary States\n5)Distinguishing between pathological and transformational states.\n6) Approaches to addressing different scenarios in Spiritual Emergencies and integration\nOn every module of Holotropic Training there is also experiential and healing part. Participants have 2 sessions of Holotropic Breathwork as a breathers and 2 as a sitters. Sessions will be guided by Marc Aixala, Sitara Blasco, Juanjo Segura, Jean Farrell, Nora McDonnell, Tomek Kwiecinski, Rachela Dobrzanska and the rest of the facilitator’s team. There will be also time and tools for integrating the whole experience.\nIt is not necessary to have previous experience in Holotropic Breathworh, but is required to complete a brief confidential questionnaire.\nMAIN TEACHER – MARC AIXALA\nMarc B. Aixalà is a Holotropic Training module leader trained in the therapeutic use of Non Ordinary States of Consciousness; in MDMA assisted-psychotherapy for PTSD by MAPS; and in the use of psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression. Marc works as a therapist and mentor in a clinical trial with psilocybin in Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona. He has experience as a Team Leader and Trainer helping people through difficult psychedelic experiences at Boom Festival (Kosmicare 2010-2016). Marc collaborates with ICEERS (International Center for Ethnobotanical Education Research and Service) by offering integration psychotherapy for people in challenging situations after psychedelic experiences, developing theoretical models of intervention and training and supervising therapists. He is the author of “Psychedelic Integration: non-ordinary logics and the challenges of psychotherapy in expanded states of awareness”.\nPayment Terms\nPRICE\nEarly bird price: €950 (for payments made by March 30)Regular price: €1110Non-refundable deposit: €240\nIf participation is cancelled, the remaining balance may either be transferred to another holotropic module in Poland or refunded to your account.\nParticipants from Poland, Ukraine, and other lower-income countries may contact us regarding a possible discount.\n\nAccommodation\nAccommodation costs are not included in the workshop fee and are paid directly to the hotel.\n\nSingle room: PLN 3,125 per person\nDouble room: PLN 2,730 per person\nTriple room or larger: PLN 2,595 per person\nDog stay: PLN 50 per day\n\nREGISTRATION\nholotropictraining@gmail.com\n\n Contact Form Wydarzenia PLFirst NameLast NameEmailSubjectYour MessageSubmit Form \n window.fluent_form_ff_form_instance_1_1 = {"id":"1","settings":{"layout":{"labelPlacement":"top","helpMessagePlacement":"with_label","errorMessagePlacement":"inline","cssClassName":"","asteriskPlacement":"asterisk-right"},"restrictions":{"denyEmptySubmission":{"enabled":false}}},"form_instance":"ff_form_instance_1_1","form_id_selector":"fluentform_1","rules":{"names[first_name]":{"required":{"value":true,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"}},"names[middle_name]":{"required":{"value":false,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"}},"names[last_name]":{"required":{"value":true,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"}},"email":{"required":{"value":true,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"},"email":{"value":true,"message":"This field must contain a valid email","global":false,"global_message":"This field must contain a valid email"}},"subject":{"required":{"value":false,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"}},"message":{"required":{"value":true,"message":"This field is required","global":false,"global_message":"This field is required"}}},"debounce_time":300};\n \n \n
